Hi one and all...I see that Matt hasn't posted on this page anymore.
So, I shall take it under my belt to keep you updated.
We've not done too much of major interest lately but we had a busy weekend. Matt & I went out with friends on Sat morning for breakfast which was yummy. Then we watched Spiderman which was okay...not a major fan or anything but it was kinda fun I guess. I think the second Spiderman looks better but we'll just have to wait and see.
We also kept ourselves busy on the weekend going out for a progressive dinner with 19 other young adults from church and then going out for lunch at a Thai restaurant on Sunday afternoon which was DELICIOUS! The green curry was the best. So if you like Thai and come to visit us remind us to go their for lunch on a Saturday or Sunday since it's only $7.50 a plate.
That's about it. Matt & I are looking forwrad to a couple of weeks off of youth group. It's been a busy term and an extra night at home for a week or two will be nice.
Hi, everyone!
Just going to push Matt's very well written blog DOWN the page to let you all know how our weekend away was!
Well, to be honest we've had TWO weekends away lately. First off was to the B&B down at Stanwell Park which was LOVELY! We had 2 1/2 relaxing days down there. Matt & I spent it walking along the beach, sitting by the fire and me beating him at cribbage games and watched movies. It was very relaxing and the breakfasts were soooo huge!!!!! We had bacon, eggs, grilled tomato, toast, croissants, fruite, museli, yoghurt, coffee & tea, juice, hash browns etc etc....we were ROLLED from the table each morning! Hee hee...
Then Lydia came to visit for a week and int he middle of that week we went up the Blue Mountains to a Christian Camp. They had about 300 teens there which was CRAZY! Matt & I were leaders in the senior camp which ran seperate from the juniors whihc was good coz we could "get away" form the jrs most of the time. I'll have to get Matt to upload some of the photos of the scenery etc so we can put them in the photo albums.
And since Lydia left on Thursday I've been recovering! Lol....not really i just happened to come down with a nasty flu on Thursday when she left.
Matt & I went to see Harry Potter on Saturday as well. All I'll say is that it was quite enjoyable and we had had fun watching it. Matt can do the "detailed disection" of the movie!
Hello world!
Rachel has kept telling me that I need to put a message up on the front page of this blog . . . and considering that nobody is looking at my page, I probably do need to do some advertising . . .
So, here we go . . .
Ladies and gentlemen, are you tired of
ordinary blogs?
Are you wanting variety?
Are you wanting something different from your average "houses of love" and "recipe pages"???
Then go away off our page!!! Because we don't want you here!!!
Or, alternatively . . .
Visit the "Matt's Arts" link in the corner.
You will be taken to a mind-blowing page.
It looks exactly the same as this one.
But it contains deep, dark secrets.
Like what I REALLY thought of Brad Pitt in "Troy".
Random thoughts on life.
Self-help tips for those challenged by romance and can-openers (well, not really, but if there's a market for it, I could start).
Book reviews.
And, maybe, just maybe, the adventures of Bromley, A Most Inappropriate Bear.
Okay, I'll stop blogging now before Rach gets cranky with me for making her blogs disappear off the page.
Thanks for stopping by, and we hope to see you back here soon!!
Matt
Lol...that's my dear husband! He let it slip the other night that we'll be staying at a B&B! Still don't know where though! Only 2 days till we leave! It's all getting rather exciting! We'll be sure to do an update when we get back!!
